Darla Sebastian has been promoted to vice president of special projects by Cardenas Markets in Ontario.
A Cardenas employee for two years, Sebastian has more than 20 years experience in retail management with an emphasis on eCommerce, supply chain, finance operations and store systems, according to a statement on the company website.
She will report to Prabash Coswatte, Cardenas’ chief operating officer.
“Darla brings extensive project management and retail experience to her new position,” Coswatte said in the statement. “She is a strong and highly accomplished leader who has a reputation for transforming strategic vision into reality.”
Before joining Cardenas, Sebastian was IT director at Monoprice Inc., an online retailer, and she was senior project manager-consultant for Smart Code LLC, a developer of mobile apps, according to the statement.
