Mike Reed has been promoted to senior vice president and chief financial officer by Stater Bros. Markets Inc.
Reed, who has spent 23 years in real estate development, replaces Dave Harris, who retired recently, according to a statement on the company’s website.
“It has been a pleasure working with Mike over the last several years as he has overseen the opening of several new stores and the remodeling of numerous existing locations,” said Pete Van Helden, Stater Bros.’ president and chief executive officer, in the statement. “With Mike overseeing the company’s finances, Stater Bros. will be well-positioned for success well into the future.”
Reed began working at the supermarket chain in 2014 as a senior director in its real estate and property management department, according to the statement.
