Darlene Wetton, chief executive officer of Southwest Healthcare Temecula Valley Hospital, has been promoted to group vice president, California of Southwest Healthcare.
Wetton will oversee multiple Southwest Healthcare facilities in Southern California, according to a statement on Temecula Valley Hospital’s website.
“Elevating Darlene to group vice resident is a testament to her leadership and dedication,” said Eddie Sim, president of University Health Service’s acute care division, in the statement. “She has demonstrated a commitment to excellence and a focus on delivering exceptional care to our patients.”
Temecula Valley Hospital has received much acclaim during Wetton’s tenure, including a five-star Medical Hospital Compare ranking and 11 Leapfrog A-grade ratings, according to the statement.
Leapfrog is a nonprofit watchdog organization that helps healthcare consumers and purchasers.
