Robert J. Nava, vice president of university advancement at Cal State San Bernardino, will serve on the Association of Governing Boards of Universities and Colleges’ council on foundation leaders.
With more than 40,000 members worldwide, the AGB helps college, university and foundation boards “govern with knowledge and confidence,” according to a statement on Cal State San Bernardino’s website.
Nava has worked in the administration at Cal State San Bernardino since November 2018. Before that he spent eight years as vice president for University Advancement at San Francisco State University, where he was in charge of a $150 million fundraising campaign.
“As a longstanding member of AGB, it’s an honor to serve in an advisory capacity to its leadership as a member of the Council on Foundation Leaders,” Nava said in the statement.
