Ontario International Airport has been ranked second in customer satisfaction among medium-sized airports in North America.
The airport earned a customer satisfaction score of 709 – just four points behind top-ranked Indianapolis International Airport – in the 2025 J.D. Power North America Airport Satisfaction Study, according to a statement on the airport’s website.
Ontario International ranked fourth in the survey last year.
The J.D. Power study measures passenger satisfaction in several areas, including ease of travel, level of trust, terminal facilities, airport staff, and the food, beverage and retail experience.
That ranking comes shortly after earning Level 2 Accreditation for Customer Experience from Airports Council International (ACI) this summer. Ontario International is one of 17 airports nationwide to achieve such recognition.
Ontario International’s passenger volume has risen 75 percent since the airport’s return to local ownership in 2016, and it expects to serve more than seven million travelers this year, according to the statement.
