Alaska Air Group will begin service between Ontario International Airport and Santa Rosa next spring.
Scheduled to begin March 18, the daily flights to Charles M. Schulz Sonoma County Airport will be Ontario International’s 31st nonstop destination and its fifth nonstop to Northern California, according to a statement on the airport’s website.
Named for the late creator of the popular Peanuts comic strip who lived for years in Sonoma County, the airport is 62 miles north of San Francisco in the heart of the wine county.
“We are thrilled that Alaska Airlines has chosen Ontario International for continued growth in 2026,” said Alan D. Wapner, president, of the Ontario International Airport Authority’s board of commissioners, in the statement. “The new flights from one of our partners of more than 40 years will offer travelers a fast and reliable connection between Northern and Southern California.”
The flights will have 76 seats: 12 in first class, 16 in premium class and 48 in coach. For more information visit AlaskaAir.com.
