Savers lands in Rancho Cucamonga

Savers, the for-profit thrift store chain, has opened in Rancho Cucamonga.

The store at 9640 Baseline Ave. opened Nov. 20 in a space formerly occupied by a 99 Cents Only, according to Val Thompson, the Savers’ manager.

About 50 people work there. The store’s hours are 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. seven days a week.

Founded in 1954, Savers Value Village Inc. is a for-profit thrift store based in Bellevue, Wash. It operates 351 stores throughout the United States, Canada, and Australia, and employs nearly 23,000 people. It grossed $1.5 billion and opened 29 stores in 2024, according to the company’s website.
