Carlos Prieto has been named Arrowhead Regional Medical Center’s chief operating and strategy officer.
An Arrowhead Regional employee since September 2021, Prieto will oversee day-to-day operations at the medical center, according to a statement.
Prieto, who has more than 20 years experience in hospital administration, has been acting chief operating officer at Arrowhead Regional in Colton since November 2025. He began there as an associate hospital administrator for ancillary services, and later became its chief of business development and strategy.
Before joining Arrowhead Regional, Prior was was business operations director at Eisenhower Health’s Lucy Curci Cancer Center in Rancho Mirage.
“I am honored to step into this role, and I look forward to building on our executive team’s work,” Prieto said in the statement.
