Walmart has completed the remodeling of one of its three Supercenters in Riverside.
The store at 5200 Van Buren Blvd. has been upgraded to include more options for pickups and delivery, a larger assortment of products, a new Mother’s Room, enlarged curbside pickup, and a new fulfillment center, according to a statement.
A ribbon cutting and community celebration was held June 5. Walmart also made three charitable donations: $4,000 to HYB Sports, $3,000 to the American Red Cross Riverside County, and $5,000 to the California Highway Patrol.
Walmart is currently remodeling 56 of its California stores and more than 650 nationwide. The Bentonville- Ark. based retail giant has invested more than $1.1 billion in California during the past five years, according to the statement.
