ONT Field had a very good rookie year.
The home of the Ontario Tower Buzzers, the Single-A affiliate of the Los Angeles Dodgers, has been named the 2026 Ballpark of the Year by BaseballParks.com.
The award recognizes the stadium, one of five minor league stadiums to open this year, as one of the best places for fans to watch a game.
The ballpark, which is owned by the city of Ontario, is part of the Ontario Sports Complex. It incorporates aviation themes, including a food hall modeled on an airport baggage-claim carousel, and an interactive runway that lights up next to a vintage airplane model whenever the home team hits a home run.
“ONT Field is exactly what we believe a minor League ballpark should be: an incredible place for fans, a best-in-class environment for player development and a true community gathering place,” said Pat Battle and Peter Freund, executive chairman chief executive office of Diamond Baseball Holdings, in a statement.
Diamond Baseball Holdings owns 49 minor league baseball teams, including the Tower Buzzers, according to the statement.
