Redlands filmmaker Trevor Stevens recently had one of his short films selected as “Short of the Week” by Vimeo, the video-sharing website.
Stevens’ “Run” is a 17-minute story of a drug transaction gone bad and how the gang members involved must deal with the consequences, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
Stevens recently graduated from the film production program at the Dodge College of Film and Media Arts at Chapman University in Orange. “Run” was his senior thesis for his Bachelor of Arts degree, the report stated.
Bomani Story, like Stevens a graduate of Redlands High School, helped Stevens write the original script. The film was shot during the course of two weekends but took most of one year to plan, according to the report.
