Tune in to The Main Event this Saturday morning at 9:30 on AM590 with host Ed Hoffman as he discusses national current events and politics, with a few mortgage tips along the way. Ed delivers intelligent, entertaining radio that makes hard news easy to understand!
Ed is out this week, so sidekick Scott McAfee is filling in. He kicks off the show with a reminder for everyone to register for this year’s WCC Charities PushUps for Charity event on May 21 in Moreno Valley, benefitting wounded veterans through The Boot Campaign. Whether you want to do push-ups at the event or you’d just like to donate to the cause, visit WCCcharities.org and click on the PushUps for Charity banner at the top of the page. As you heard Joey Jones say on the show last week, the money raised from this event goes directly to helping wounded veterans with jobs, housing and other much-needed support. So go to WCCcharities.org and click on the Push-Ups for Charity banner if you can help! The event will be on May 21 at Wholesale Capital Corporation, 23328 Olive Wood Plaza Dr. in Moreno Valley.
Next it’s on to discussing Scott’s insider information on December’s terror attack in San Bernardino. “I know a lot of people involved in the investigation,” Scott says. “They’ve told me a lot of information related to what they found on the scene.” He’s talked about some of it on the air before, but if you haven’t yet heard it, tune in to this week’s show! Some of the details he provides include:
- The number of people shot (yes, 14 died – but many more were wounded).
- The response time of the San Bernardino PD (it was incredibly fast and they should be commended!)
- How police were able to find Syed Farook (it’s a combination of law enforcement collaboration and incredible GPS technology)
- What Tashfeen Malik hurled at our local police officers (it’s never been reported on before, and it proves she most likely received some formal jihadi training)
- The additional people who were in the Farook apartment in Redlands (hint: they’re not related to Farook – but they arerelated to Malik!)
Scott gives details of the San Bernardino terror attack that have never been reported, and everyone in the Inland Empire needs to know about them!
Later in the show, we recap the week’s political events – from Ted Cruz dropping out, to Trump’s “Lee Harvey Oswald” accusation, to the latest Hillary Clinton. As a Cruz supporter, Scott has a little bit of a different perspective than listeners may be used to. Ed wants everyone to listen to the show this week and next, and register for Push-Ups for Charity at www.WCCcharities.com. See you May 21!
