A restaurant and bar chain that locates next to pickleball facilities is coming to Rancho Cucamonga.
Electric Pickle has broken ground at The Resort, 160-acre mixed-use residential community developed by Lewis Retail Properties, a division of Upland-Lewis Retail Centers, according to a statement.
The site at Fourth Street and The Resort Parkway is across from Toyota Arena and the 131-room Element by Marriott, both of which are in Ontario. Construction on the 8,500-square-foot restaurant has begun and is expected to be completed by next summer.
This will be the chain’s first California location, according to the statement.
The Resort is an “urban village,” meaning it puts home, recreation, and everyday life within walking distance of one another.
The restaurant will be The Resort’s first anchor tenant. It will be surrounded by 10 pickleball courts, a lawn, and several bars and lounges, according to the statement.
