Kelly Bracamontes has been named Chino Hills’ Highlighted Volunteer for the first quarter of 2016.
Bracamontes, a 12-year resident of the city, works with Chino Hills’ Volunteer Service Program and occupies a seat on chARTS, the art committee of the Chino Hills Community Foundation, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Bracamontes, who began her volunteer work when her youngest son started school, selects the artists that participate in the rotating art show at Chino Hills Community Center. She also helps the artists prepare their artwork and arranges receptions for several show every year, according to the statement.
The award was announced May 4.
