Esri in Redlands has entered into a research and development agreement with the U.S. Department of Energy’s Idaho National Laboratory.
The agreement, which was announced last week, calls on both entities to develop ways to protect critical infrastructure and missions, according to a statement.
Their work will also estimate possible damage to U.S. infrastructure that could be done by cyber vulnerabilities and targeted attacks.
The Idaho National Laboratory is one of the country’s leading centers for nuclear energy research and development, according to the statement.
