Breeze Airways recently marked its second anniversary at San Bernardino International Airport, and it had some solid numbers to mark the occasion.
The Utah-based discount airline flew more than 84,000 passengers on an estimated 1,400 flights in and out of San Bernardino during the past 24 months, according to a statement on the airport’s website.
“We are proud to celebrate our partnership with Breeze Airways,” said Frank J. Navarro, President of the San Bernardino International Airport Authority Commission, in the statement.“This collaboration has improved travel options for Inland Empire residents, offering both convenience and affordability.”
Breeze Airways began operations in May 2021. It offers more than 170 year-round routes between 56 cities in 29 states, and it has been ranked one of the best domestic airlines in each of the last two years by Travel + Leisure magazine, according to the statement.
