The Habit, the Irvine-based hamburger restaurant chain, is opening its second location in Upland.
The restaurant, at 1213 W. Foothill Blvd., officially opened Wednesday, according to a company statement.
The chain, formally known as The Habit Burger Grill, has operated a restaurant at the Colonies Crossroads Shopping Center next to the Foothill Freeway since April of last year, according to the statement.
About 35 people will work at the new restaurant, which covers about 3,400 square feet and is one of the few Habit locations with a drive-thru.
The Habit operates more than 125 restaurants in six states, including 20 locations in the Inland Empire, according to the company’s website.
Company officials held fundraisers this week that benefited three local charities: Foothill Family Shelter, Scheu Family YMCA of Upland and Shoes That Fit, according to the statement.
