Construction of a retail building in Apple Valley is expected to begin in November.
The 20,000-square-foot structure will be built at 20426 U.S. Highway 18 within Apple Valley Commons, according to Lewis Retail Centers in Upland, the project’s developer.
Ulta Beauty, Bath & Body Works, and Five Below will occupy the building, which will be a major expansion for the eight-year-old mall. A completion date has not been announced.
Target, Ross Dress For Less, Old Navy, Ulta, Five Below, Bath and Body Works and Dollar Tree are the facility’s anchor tenants. Other tenants include Starbucks, Carl’s Jr., Panda Express, Del Taco, Pacific Dental and Verizon Wireless.
Apple Valley Commons is across from the Apple Valley Town Hall, which houses the civic center park, police department, the Apple Valley Conference Center Park, and the San Bernardino County Library.

Technically it’s not a mall. It’s good that these are coming to that side of town. It will help all the other businesses in the area plus not make those stores that are on the other end of town less crowded. Hopefully they will have some new to Apple Valley and even new to the High Desert businesses come in closer to development completion or soon afterwards.
