UC Riverside has been ranked 24th among public universities in the United States by the Wall Street Journal.
During the past three years, UC Riverside has gone from 181st to its present spot in the newspaper’s 2026 rankings, according to a statement on the university’s website.
This year, UCR ranked ahead of sister campuses UCLA, UC Irvine, UC Santa Barbara, and UC Santa Cruz. The top three public universities were UC Berkley, UC Davis, and UC Merced, respectively.
The rankings are based on several factors, including graduates’ salaries, graduation rates diversity, and learning environment, according to the statement.
