Bank of America building sells for $6.15 million

A building in Rancho Cucamonga occupied by Bank of America has been sold.

The structure, at 8700 Baseline Road, sold for $6.15 million in an all-cash transaction, according to Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.

Progressive represented the seller, WM Capital. Marcus & Millichap represented the buyer, a Northern California investor whose name was not released.

The building is in Country Village shopping center at Baseline Road and Carnelian Avenue. The project is anchored by Stater Bros.

Bank of America has had a branch at Country Village since 1976.

About 48,000 vehicles pass by the site on a typical day, and more than 50,000 people live within a five-minute drive of Country Village. Average income in that community is more than $100,000 per household, according to Progressive.

  1. I don’t know what’s going on, but today Thursday 26 Jan. 2023 I saw that the Bank of America was apparently open for business. There was a line outside shortly before 10:00 AM and then the doors opened and everybody went inside. Curious, I walked over and entered the building, ( the one that was sold “for all cash”) and spoke with a manager who played dumb on any details I enquired about, just that they were indeed open as B of A. Cue Twilight Zone music.
