Katherine Bourbeau-Medinilla has been appointed Arrowhead Regional Medical Center’s chief population health officer and associate chief medical officer.
An attending physician with Arrowhead Regional since 2022, Bourbeau-Medinilla will oversee the hospital’s efforts in population health, and its attempt to reduce health care disparities in the Inland region, according to a statement.
She is the first person in Arrowhead Regional’s history to hold the chief population health officer title.
“Dr. Bourbeau-Medinilla represents the best of physician leadership, said Andrew Goldfrach Arrowhead Regional’s chief executive officer, in the statement. “Her appointment ensures that frontline medicine will continue to shape Arrowhead Regional’s future.”
Bourbeau-Medinilla will continue her clinical practice part time, and remain part of the faculty within Arrowhead Regional’s internal medicine residency program, according to the statement.
