Butler appointed Hemet city clerk

Rosalia Butler is Hemet’s new city clerk.

Butler, who has nearly 20 years experience in city government, will manage the city’s records,  and oversee municipal elections, according to a statement on the city’s website.

“We are thrilled to welcome Rosalia Butler to the City of Hemet,” said City Manager Mark Prestwich in the statement, “Her experience and commitment to public service make her an exceptional addition to our team.

“We look forward to the leadership she will bring to the city clerk’s office.”

Butler is a commissioned notary public, and has earned both the Certified Municipal Clerk (CMC) and Master Municipal Clerk (MMC) designations from the International Institute of Municipal Clerks, according to the statement.
