Calvin, Luna promoted by Stater Bros.

Stater Bros. has announced two executive promotions.

Rebecca Calvin has been named executive vice president and chief marketing officer, and Bertha Luna has been promoted to vice president of store operations, according to a statement released by the company.

Both will report to Greg McNiff, Stater Bros,’ president and chief executive officer.

“Over the last several years, Rebecca and Bertha have cultivated a collaborative relationship that has benefited Stater Bros. immensely,” McNiff said in the statement. “I look forward to working with them to build upon that collaborative spirit.”

Outside of Staters Bros., Calvin is vice president of the Western Association of Food Chains’ board of directors, and Luna is secretary on the California Grocers Association board of directors executive committee, according to the statement.
