Chicken restaurant opens in Jurupa Valley

Pollo Campero, an international chicken restaurant chain, has opened a location in Jurupa Valley.

The restaurant at 8149 Mission Blvd. is the company’s fourth in the Inland Empire and 23rd in California, according to a company statement.

It is open daily from 10 a.m. to 10. p.m. A grand opening ceremony was held June 26.

Pollo Campero (“Country Chicken”) is part of The Shops at Jurupa Valley, a 32-acre shopping center at the northeast corner of Mission Boulevard and Pyrite Street.

Tenants include Target, Burlington, In-N-Out, Starbucks, Raising Canes, Ono Hawaiian BBQ and Chipotle founded in Guatemala in 1971, Pollo Campero operates more than 350 locations worldwide. It was recently named one of the 20 best fast-food chicken restaurants in the United States by USA Today, according to the company’s website.
