China Airlines’ passenger count at Ontario International Airport has reached one million.
A man identified as Mr. Cheng was honored during a ceremony Feb. 2 after stepping off a flight from Taipei, according to a statement on the airport’s website.
In March 2018, China Airlines became the first airline at Ontario International to offer transoceanic service.
Last year, China Airlines accommodated nearly 195,000 travelers at Ontario International.
“Welcoming the 1 millionth China Airlines passenger is not only a celebration of this airline’s achievement, but also a powerful affirmation of ONT’s growing role as an international gateway,” said Alan D. Wapner, president of the Ontario International Airport Authority’s board of commissioners, in the statement.
“It reflects our shared commitment to delivering world-class service, expanding global connectivity, and providing Southern California travelers with a more convenient and accessible option for international travel.”
