Moreno Valley is again accepting applications from local artists who wish to have their work displayed in city facilities next year.
The art loan program will place “family-friendly” works in the city council chamber, library and several other city-owned locations.
“Moreno Valley is full of gifted artists, and over the years we have been fortunate to exhibit many pieces of amazing local artwork,” said Mayor Yxstian Gutierrez in a written statement. “I am looking forward to showcasing the incredible talents of our local artists in City facilities.”
Work selected will be displayed from January through April.
Deadline to apply is Dec. 22. Applications, which will be be accepted only from people who live or work in Moreno Valley, are available at www.moval.org/artloan.
