Riverside has started a website meant to encourage more economic development with the city.
The site, www.riversidebusiness.org, is “designed to accelerate business growth, attract investment, and strengthen support for the local business community,” according to a statement on the city’s website.
The project was announced at the May 21 meeting of the Riverside’s Economic Development Committee.
The site was developed by Compelle, a Riverside media company. City officials hope the digital platform is the start of a new era in business development for Riverside, marked by more cooperation between the city and local businesses.
“The launch of riversidebusiness.org marks a major step forward in how we support, attract, and grow business in the city of Riverside,” said Miranda Evans, interim community and economic development director, in the statement. “(It) reinforces that Riverside is open for business and ready for the future.”
