Moreno Valley is scheduled to hold a bulk waste clean-up event on March 19.
The event will be held from 8 a.m. to noon at Vista del Lago High School, 15150 Lasselle St., according to a city statement.
City residents will be able to dispose of items that are too large to fit into a regular trash truck, including furniture, mattresses, old appliances and electronic waste. Household hazardous waste, including latex or oil paint, motor oil, batteries and tires may also be deposited.
Residents will be required to show a photo ID, utility bill or event postcard to prove they live in Moreno Valley, and they should be ready to remove the waste materials themselves.
