The town of Apple Valley and the Apple Valley Business District Association will hold a community workshop Dec. 8 regarding the Village Business District Specific Plan.
That plan, which is being written, focuses on making development, investment and renovation easier in that part of Apple Valley.
Members of the public are invited to attend the session, which is scheduled to be held from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. in the Apple Valley Conference Center at 14975 Dale Evans Parkway.
The Village Business District, which is considered Apple Valley’s original business district, runs along Happy Trails Highway 18 and is bordered by Navajo Road to the west and Central Road to the east.
Today, the district is overseen by a board and membership association that is responsible for revitalizing the area to assure its financial success.
