Renovation of the Desert Horizons Country Club in Indian Wells has been completed.
The $25.4 million project included an expansion of the main clubhouse, construction of a pavilion and an upgrade of the tennis courts, according to a statement.
The renovated clubhouse includes a 35,000-square-foot expansion that contains new locker rooms, a lounge, card room, wellness center, fitness facility, snack bar, pro shop, and a commercial kitchen for on-site service.
Opened in 1979, Desert Horizons Country Club is located on a former date orchard. It’s near the Indian Wells Tennis Garden, McCallum Theatre, the El Paseo shopping district and mountain and hiking trails.
