Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship is accepting applications

CSUSB “business pitch” competition is underway

The Inland Empire Center for Entrepreneurship is accepting applications for this year’s Garner Holt Student Fast Pitch Competition.

The competition, in which Cal State San Bernardino students propose ideas for businesses to a panel of investors and entrepreneurs, is accepting applications through Monday.

Up to 15 would-be entrepreneurs will be named semi-finalists. They will be coached before making a 90-second pitch to the panel of investors on Nov. 3. Each proposal will be judged on its quality and investment potential.

Five finalists will be chosen to make a final pitch at the Spirit of the Entrepreneur Awards on Nov. 10 at the Fox Theater in Riverside. Cash prizes of up to $4,000 will be awarded.

The Center for Entrepreneurship is part of the Jack H. Brown College of Business and Public Administration at Cal State San Bernardino.
