Cal State San Bernardino President Tomas Morales will chair the governing board of the Hispanic Association of Colleges and Universities.
Morales’ election was announced Tuesday, according to a report in The Press-Enterprise.
The association, which represents more than 450 colleges and universities in the United States, Spain and Latin America, advocates for increased funding for schools with high Latino enrollment. It also provides technical and other assistance to its member institutions, the report stated.
