Delta launches NY flights from PSP

Delta Airlines has begun nonstop service from Palm Spring International Airport to John F. Kennedy International Airport in New York.

The seasonal flights are being offered on Saturdays, leaving Palm Springs International at 12:50 p.m. and arriving in New York at 8:35 p.m., according to a statement on Palm Springs’ website.

Flights leave JFK International at 8:45 a.m. and arrive in Palm Springs at 10:50 a.m. All times are local.

The flights are scheduled to run through May 3.

“This new nonstop service is an addition to Palm Springs International’s growing network,” said Harry Barrett Jr., the airport’s executive director, in the statement. “With the convenience of nonstop flights to JFK International, travelers from the Coachella Valley have a way to reach New York City, whether for business or leisure.”

Palm Springs International is the Coachella Valley’s only commercial service airport. Owned and operated by the city of Palm Springs, it served more than 3.2 million passengers in 2023, according to the statement.
