Charlene Engeron has been named Apple Valley’s employee of the quarter for the third quarter.
An 11-year town employee, Engeron recently secured $64,000 in SAVE sponsorships, a 300 percent year-over-year increase, according to a statement on Apple Valley’s website.
SAVE dollars pay for special events like the Sunset Concerts and the Freedom Festival.
Engeron’s script-writing and event coordination also helped ensure a successful 2019 State of the Town presentation last month, in which Mayor Larry Cusack and the Town Council presented an assessment of Apple Valley’s business activities during the 20118-’19 fiscal year.
“Charlene takes tremendous pride in making sure the community knows about the services, events, and programs the town provides,” Cusack said in the statement.
