Miranda Evans has been named Riverside’s economic development manager.
Evans, who began work Aug. 30, has more than 10 years experience in economic development and city planning, according to a statement on the city’s website.
Most recently, Evans was economic development manager in Chula Vista. During her time there, the economic development department won seven national and international awards in multiple categories, including planning and programming, COVID-19 economic recovery programming and small business marketing.
“Miranda Evans is an award-winning economic development professional, and we are excited to add her to our team,” said Jennifer Lilley, Riverside’s director of community and economic development, in the statement.
Great! Someone else that can take the wrap for the Mayor and City Council.
