Fontana logistics building sells

A San Francisco-based company has purchased a warehouse-distribution building in Fontana.

Terreno Realty Corp., which buys and operates industrial properties in six major U.S. markets, bought the 265,500-square-foot structure for nearly $23 million, according to a statement.

The transaction was completed earlier this month. The seller’s name was not released.

The building, at 14605 Miller Ave., is fully leased to Westcoast Warehouse Inc., a public and commercial storage facility. It sits on 13 acres and is about six miles from where Interstates 10 and 15 intersect in Ontario.

Terreno Realty operates in Los Angeles, San Francisco and Seattle on the west coast and New York/New Jersey, Miami and Washington D.C./Baltimore on the east coast. It specializes in infill markets near major distribution points.

The company currently owns more than 120 industrial buildings that cover nearly nine million square feet, according to the company’s website.
