Nicole Freeman has been named Chino Hills’ public information officer.
A Chino Hills native, Freeman will be the city’s primary media liaison and will represent it at community events and meetings, according to a statement on the city’s website.
“Nicole knows the city well and will be a great addition to our community relations team,” said City Manager Ben Montgomery in the statement. “She understands the importance of building strong relationships with our community partners and will continue our ongoing commitment to engage and inform the community.”
Freeman will be part of Chino Hills’ community relations division. She has spent the past two and a half years as a public relations and marketing coordinator, where she helped lead media outreach programs for local government agencies, nonprofits, and major retail destinations, according to the statement.
