Goldfrach named outstanding citizen

Andrew Goldfrach, chief executive officer of Arrowhead Regional Medical Center, has been presented the 2026 Outstanding Citizen Award by the San Bernardino County Medical Society.

The award recognizes individuals who have advanced healthcare in San Bernardino County, according to a statement on the county’s website.

During the pandemic, Goldfrach served as interim director of the county’s Department of Public Health. He also helped expand access to patient-care at ARMC, a 456-bed county-owned facility that specializes in helping low-income and underinsured residents.

Goldrfrach is a board member with several healthcare organizations, including the California Association of Public Hospitals, the Hospital Association of Southern California, and the California University of Science and Medicine. He is also a regent for the California-Southern Region of the American College of Healthcare Executives, according to the statement.
