Bear Creek Golf Club in Murrieta will host the 117th California State Open July 19-22.
More than 150 players, a mix of professionals and top amateurs, will tee it up on the Jack Nicklaus-designed course, according the PGA of Southern California, the event’s organizer.
This will be the first time Bear Creek, which opened in 1983, will host the California State Open. The course has hosted several PGA and USGA events, according to the SCPGA’s website.
