Aldi, the grocery store chain that is planning a major move into Southern California next year, will hold a three-day job fair next month that will fill jobs at its Moreno Valley distribution center.
The sessions will be held Nov. 13th, 14th and 15th at the distribution center, 1266 ALDI Place, according to a company statement.
The distribution center, which will also serve as the company’s regional headquarters, will serve the 45 stores Aldi plans to open in Southern California by the end of next year.
All applicants will be given a first interview, with select candidates to be asked back for one or two follow-up interviews. The hiring process will include a drug screening, background check and reference check, according to the statement.
All job offers will be made by January.
The positions to be filled will entail building pallets that will be sent to and from ALDI stores, and storing items in the warehouse. Pay ranges from $19 to $26 per hour, and all applicants must be 18 years old and have a high school diploma or a GED.
