Brian Haynes of Rancho Cucamonga has been appointed to the California Student Aid Commission by Gov. Gavin Newsom.
Haynes has been vice chancellor for student affairs at UC Riverside since 2018, and before that he was vice president for student affairs at Cal State San Bernardino from 2013 to 2018, according to a statement on the governor’s website.
Haynes is a member of National Association of Student Personnel Administrators – Student Affairs Administrators in Higher Education, the Association of Public Land Grant Universities, and the editorial board of the Student Affairs Journal.
