Karma Automotive, a maker of high-end electric automobiles, recently unveiled its latest vehicle, the Revero, in Moreno Valley.
The Irvine-based company held an “unveiling ceremony” at the Karma Innovation and Customization Center, 17100 N. Perris Blvd., according to a statement on the city’s website.
The event included a presentation by Marques McCammon, Karma president, tours of the manufacturing facility, which opened in 2015, and kudos from city officials.
“[This] marks an exciting chapter for the city of Moreno Valley and the entire region,” said Moreno Valley Mayor Ulises Cabrera in the statement. “The production of Karma’s ultra-luxury portfolio, including the new-series Karma Revero, highlights our role in driving innovation to create local jobs and opportunities.”
The 556,000-square -foot innovation center includes a body shop, general assembly, paint shop, final process alignment, and test stations, according to the statement.
