Construction has begun on a 122-suite hotel in Moreno Valley.
WoodSpring Suites is being built at 24455 Hemlock Ave. and will be the chain’s fourth Inland Empire location, according to a statement on the city’s website.
The extended-stay hotel is expected to open in the summer of 2023.
TGC Group, a full-service development and investment company in Wichita, Kan., that specializes in hospitality management projects, is developing the hotel. Cost of the project, and how many people it will employ, was not disclosed.
“I am honored that TGC Group has chosen Moreno Valley as the location of their newest hotel,” said Mahor Yxstian Gutierrez in the statement. “With the opening of WoodSpring Suites, visitors to Moreno Valley will have another option to stay in comfort while discovering our city.”
The hotel’s amenities will include fully equipped kitchens in every room, free Wi-Fi, a workout room, around-the-clock laundry facilities and flat-panel TVs.
WoodSpring Suites hotels are located in Norco, Redlands and Colton, according to TMG’s website.
