Study: Inland hospitals among best in U.S. for maternity care

IE Occupational Medicine merges

Inland Empire Occupational Medicine has merged with an Orange County physicians group.

Irvine-based Akeso Occupational Health recently bought the Riverside physicians group according to a statement.

Terms of the transaction, including its cost, were not disclosed.

Akeso Occupational, which has acquired several occupational health groups in California during the past year or so, is the ideal merger partner for Inland Empire Occupational, said Craig Clark, Inland Empire Occupational’s founder.

“I met every level of Akeso’s team, and I could see that they shared the same passion that I have in regard to patient care,” Clark said in a statement. “You will see several exciting enhancements in the near future that I believe will make this practice rise to an even higher standard of care.”

Occupational health care focuses on workforce’s physical and mental well-being and reducing workers compensation costs.
