The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center will hold its Inland Prosperity Conference on Aug. 18 at the Marriott Riverside at the Convention Center.
The 11th annual session will feature speakers from the business community, including keynote speaker Tara Lynn Gray, director of the California Office of the Small Business Advocate.
Other scheduled speakers are:
* Assemblywoman Eloise Gomez Reyes, D-San Bernardino;
* Riverside County Supervisor Karen Spiegel;
* Christopher Earl, deputy director of the California Office of the Small Business Advocate;
* Claudia Viek, founder of the Invest in Women Entrepreneurship Initiative.
“We are delighted to have Tara Lynn Gray deliver the keynote address this year,” said Jackie Scott, director of the business center, in a statement. “The Inland Empire Women’s Business Center is honored to have a guest speaker who is a staunch advocate for small business and a great example for women entrepreneurs.”
The conference is scheduled to run from 8 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Attendee registration is $25, and vendor spaces and sponsorships are still available.
