A 184,000-square-foot industrial building in Ontario has been leased.
The structure, at 5700 E. Airport Drive, is part of the 250,248-square-foot Airport Distribution Center, according to a statement.
The tenant is Logistar, Inc., a trucking company in Quebec. The owner of the building is Alere Property Group Inc., a Newport Beach company that specializes in industrial real estate transactions.
Terms of the lease agreement were not disclosed.
Newmark Ontario represented Alere Property in the negotiations.
“The demand for distribution facilities in the Ontario/Inland Empire market continues to be robust, driven by the region’s strategic location and excellent transportation infrastructure,” said Ron Washle, executive managing director with Newmark Ontario, in the statement. “This lease is a testament to the quality of the Airport Distribution Center and its appeal to top-tier logistics and distribution operations.”
