Jurupa Valley Travel Center is sold

A travel facility in Jurupa Valley has been sold for $14 million.

The Pilot Flying J Travel Center, a 15,500-square-foot project at 11053 Riverside Drive, was purchased by an Irvine-based private investor whose name was not released, according to a statement.

Built in 2019, Pilot Flying J sits on 11.5 acres next to the 60 Freeway and is equipped with 12 fuel lanes.

The seller was the Green Group, also in Irvine. Both were represented by RealSource Group, a commercial real estate brokerage in Newport Beach.

A Wendy’s drive-thru, Cinnabon, PJ Fresh Marketplace and a Western Union office are also located on the property. The parcel is worth approximately $30 million.

Pilot Flying J Travel is reportedly the only large format, full-service truck stop in its trade area and is popular with truckers, commuters and travelers.  An estimated 185,000 vehicles on the 60 Freeway and 155,000 on Interstate 15 pass by the site on a typical day, according the statement.
