KFC building sold

A building in Perris occupied by KFC has been sold.

The 2,200-square-foot structure at 2560 North Perris Blvd., changed hands for $3.7 million, according to Hanley Investment Group Real Estate Advisors in Corona Del Mar and Progressive Real Estate Partners in Rancho Cucamonga.

Both brokerages represented the seller, an Orange County private investment group whose name was not released. The buyer, who also wished to remain anonymous, was a group from Riverside County represented by Rosenthal & Excell Commercial Real Estate in Hemet.

The building is near Interstate 215 between Nuevo Road and Ramona Expressway, in a shopping center anchored by Cardenas Markets. Other tenants include Dollar Tree, Wells Fargo, Taco Bell, Domino’s, T-Mobile and Gentle Dental.

A former Walmart building is now home to Fitness 19 and WSS, and Harbor Freight is expected to join those two tenants by the end of this month.

“The dense industrial activity combined with the property’s location on Perris Boulevard, its proximity to the freeway … and the area’s strong and growing demographics, create the ideal environment for KFC’s long-term success,” said Bill Asher, Hanley Investment vice president, in the statement.
