Mark Kirsch has been appointed director of hotel operations for Renaissance Esmeralda Resort & Spa at Indian Wells.
Kirsch oversees all daily business and department functions at the 560-room property, which was renovated recently, according to a statement released by the resort.
He was most recently opening general manager of the AC/Element Symphony Park in Las Vegas, where he helped start one of Marriott’s largest dual-brand operations.
Kirsch has also been regional director of operations for Tharaldson Hospitality, regional director of operations for Lakshmi Narayana Hospitality Group in Louisville, Kentucky, and general manager for Marriott Hotel’s White Lodging Corporation, also in Louisville.
“Mark’s extensive operational expertise, combined with his passion for hospitality, makes him an excellent addition to our leadership team,” said Tim Pyne, the resort’s general manager, in the statement.
