Menifee to hold state of city

Menifee and the Menifee Valley Chamber of Commerce will hold its 2020 State of the City next month.

The virtual event, scheduled for 4 p.m. on Oct. 15, will feature updates from Mayor Bill Zimmerman and the four council members, according to a statement on the city’s website.

Zimmerman plans to discuss how Menifee, which incorporated 12 years ago,  is advancing toward its long-term goals.

“The forward momentum we see in Menifee is second to none,” Zimmerman said in the statement. “Even during these challenging times, the community’s resilience is inspiring. The progress we have seen in Menifee is not slowing down, even through a pandemic.”

The event will be streamed on Facebook and YouTube and be available on the city’s website and other social media channels.
